Integrated Test and Diagnostic Function - Coral ITDF is a PC based external software developed by Coral's in-house R & D to test and diagnose the health of extension of IRIS. Its diagnostic functions help the user to locate line and port faults without manual checking. This increases the uptime of the system by shortening the trouble shooting process. Besides this ITDF also has a fault reporting and tracking module which  carries out the complete complaint management job.

In nutshell ITDF performs the following three broad functions-

  1. Testing of faults
  2. Diagnosis of the fault
  3. Complaint management.

Testing and diagnosing the fault

ITDF can detect line faults on the subscriber port by just click of a button. There are various options available for the user to test the fault. Fault can be tested for a particular subscriber port, a group of subscriber ports or all ports installed on the IRIS. Faults can be also tested automatically on a periodic basis.

ITDF tests specific line parameters for every subscriber port and produces the following report

Complaint Management

Coral ITDF package when installed with IRIS allows its user to register a fault on-line. The fault can be registered by a subscriber of IRIS over the phone line by dialing the fault reporting number followed by the subscriber number. The user can then punch fault codes associated with the complaint. There are standard fault codes, which can be
generated in the system. This complaint then gets automatically registered with the ITDF package. Complaints can also be registered manually by opening a complaint master on the PC where ITDF is installed.

ITDF package now generates a report as shown below which gives the list of all complaints received through IRIS as well as complaints punched in manually.

This report can be generated as and when required and helps the user not only to solve the complaint but also to track the same. These reports can also be stored in the PC, to generate the complete history of the machine's performance.

Coral ITDF is a complete Test, diagnostic and management package which helps its user not only to identify and record the fault but also to track whether the fault has been rectified by the service personnel. This brings down the down time of the machine and increases customer satisfaction level.
