Networking and Integration

The networking ability makes Dx - 2000 a tailor made product to cater to the need of the organizations, where the switching is carried out across multiple media and multiple protocols. With this Digital Series, the organization can seamlessly integrate switches at geographically distant locations using heterogeneous systems to create feature rich universal PBX network. The integration may be with analog TWT/ DID or E&M junction and can be upgraded to digital high speed link using an E1 or (ISDN) PRI/ BRI, B-ISDN connectivity, giving you sophisticated call handling and call routing capabilities. The software also provides an ideal PLCC interface to be used in PINX/ CENTREX switching and can carry out functions like alternate route selection, re - routing, least call routing etc.

These Digital switches can also function as transit exchanges, thereby providing interconnectivity between exchanges with complete transparency. It can receive and extend all signals like polarity reversal, 12/16 kHz to the end user and also generates and receives CLIP and DNI on all lines, be it analog, ISDN, E1 or even on the E&M. The digital switch also offers you a selection of features that go beyond the regular networking standards, operating in proprietary protocol giving you a network designed for efficiency, convenience and global operations. It can do least cost routing and all calls can be forwarded to any destination in the network. Its software supremacy allows it to network with other exchanges so efficiently that large corporates with multiple offices can communicate as if they are located in one building and connected through the same PBX.

Computer Telephony Integration - CTI

The Dx 2000 provides immensely useful solutions based on the CTI applications. It supports both first party and third party CTI interface. It is empowered to capture the calling number information (CLI) and Dialed number information (DNI) from the incoming lines and forward it to the server. The integration provides a platform for various applications such as the Automatic Call Distributor (ACD) and Interactive Voice Response (IVR). It effectively merges telephone and computer systems into a single unit thus transforming your communication system into an even more powerful and versatile tool.
 

Fully functional ACD

The Dx 2000 has an inbuilt ACD capability, which combined with sophisticated management information services, provides an ideal platform for creating cost effective and efficient call centre. The built in ACD functionality of the Dx 2000 can define and support 10 groups of 50 members each thereby supporting a total of 500 subscribers. The additional add on software is a powerful management tool, which helps in generating reports, which are real time and historic in nature. Besides these statistical data the software also generates supervisory reports and other reports which encompass all the call management activities of the Call center per se. The complete utility of the software in generating reports including the MIS reports makes it an ideal package for call centre of any size and magnitude.
 

DECT - Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephony

DECT is fast becoming a very important mode of wireless telephony for private networks. It enables the user to move freely within their private environment without having to loose telephone calls ringing on their wired extension. Coral has tied up with Kirk Telecom Denmark to transparently integrate the DECT solution of Kirk with their own indigenously manufactured Digital Switches. These are again modular systems, which can grow with the needs of the system.
 

PLCC Interface

Dx 2000 Systems can be connected to PLCC equipment for electricity boards to provide communication over transmission wires. Transit capabilities of the Dx 2000 can be used to set up private telecom networks over geographically spread out electrical grids by networking several EPABX's
 

GPAX Environment

The Dx 2000 system behaves like a CO exchange. It supports all types of connectivities like analog, digital (E1) DID and ISDN lines. It can sense and extend polarity reversal and 16Khz. ISDN Capabilities

The Dx 2000 system supports ISDN PRI and BRI protocols. It can handle CLI, AOC, MSN and other supplementary services at all extensions. These voice related services are transparently provided on both the KTS extensions and also to analog SLTs.
